Newlands Porcelain Nature
An extension to a family home provided much needed space and a generous canvas on which to create new storage space. High ceilings were taken advantage of to give maximum capacity, with bespoke height wardrobes filling the space. Softened at the top with a decorative cornice, the split shaker door panels were chosen to reduce the effect of the elongated doors. An awkward slope in the ceiling was again given the bespoke treatment with a shaped shelving unit. Finished with a classic pewter knob, these wardrobes start to make this new room feel like part of the home.
If your room has high ceilings, think about softening long doors with additional panels or decorative trims.
