Originally two rooms, this kitchen was opened up by removing the dividing wall to create a spacious feel. This simple alteration enabled us to increase the storage and worktop space and to improve the range of appliances. A new ceiling with integrated spot lights was installed and the room was replastered. We also re-wired the kitchen and moved the supplies for and fitted two new radiators. The old kitchen had a built-under oven which we replaced with a new eye-level single oven and microwave. In addition a Neff Point & Twist induction hob brought the customer right up to date, whilst new integrated dishwasher and washing machines replaced old freestanding models. The combination of the Dove Grey cabinets and Titaneo quartz worktops compliment each other perfectly. A grey Karndean floor was installed to complete the theme and pale blue accessories were added to create a subtle splash of colour.

Designer's Tip

Modern living often means a separate dining room is left unused. Removing the dividing wall to the kitchen brings the space back into use as a larger kitchen-diner.
