This was a generous bedroom within which we had to create three distinct areas, the bed, wardrobe storage and a dressing table. A large alcove provided a natural position for the long run of wardrobes, which were broken up using decorative pillasters and a mirrored combination robe. Another small alcove on the same wall was the location for the dressing table. Close to the window, it was lit with natural light to provide a comfortable area to apply make-up. The bed was placed on the opposite wall between two stepped drawer features.

Design Brief

Mirrors can be used to break up a continuous run of wardrobe doors and also help to reflect light.
