A room short on storage space was increased in size by removing an old boiler cupboard, creating a large alcove. New LED ceiling lighting was installed and new sockets were planned around the room. After plastering the room was then ready for new fitted furniture, the primary aim of which was to maximise storage. A large run of wardrobes were installed into the alcove and were fitted out with hanging, internal drawers and shoe racks. Slim bespoke cupboards behind the bed gave extra storage without pushing the bed too far into the room. Feature lighting added style and illumination for reading, controlled by switches either side of the bed. A matching bed frame was built to the clients size specification and linked neatly into the furniture behind. Additional design details including a TV back panel and small dressing table completed the transformation.
