Design Brief

This stunning contemporary kitchen epitomises the trend for open plan family living. Together, with the lounge and dining room, the kitchen forms an amazing space that caters for both everyday and social events. Our brief was to design a cooking space that looked clean, modern, but with enough storage for a working kitchen. The shape of the room naturally lent itself to an impressive island, so we designed a large centre piece in a bold Gloss Tiepolo grain. Incorporating a hob, sink, dishwasher and a breakfast bar the island really was a multi-use zone. Enabling them to have their own useable worktop space, the sink and hob were set opposite each other. Postioned to give a view of the whole room, the breakfast bar was set into the islands end in a complementary timber material. A parallell run of cabinets in a softer ivory gloss provided additional storage and a home for two multifunction ovens and a fridge freezer.
