Design Brief

A poorly designed kitchen installed by the previous occupants failed to make the best use of this generous room. Side-by-side tall oven and fridge housings were removed from the doorway and replaced with a long unbroken run of worksurface and cupboards to give the feeling of space upon entry. A new range cooker and American style fridge freezer were installed and, with the sink, created a perfect working triangle. The breakfast bar was created using a bespoke timber worktop and tongue and grooved bookcase. The nice mix of painted ivory cabinets, slate worktops and oak flooring gave the room an elegant, yet contemporary feel.
