Originally two rooms, this large open plan kitchen diner was created by removing a dividing wall. A window was removed and replaced with French doors to allow in more light and direct access to the garden. The new layout made an existing doorway redundant and so it was removed to create a solid corner for the dining area. The new kitchen was designed to provide the clients with more storage, more useable worktop area and better accessibility. An area was designed in the centre of the room with a large breakfast bar and wall mounted TV, perfect for social and family gatherings. As part of the project we re-wired the room, installed new LED lighting, completely re-plastered, planned and installed new radiators and laid a new Karndean floor. The cool grey theme was implemented throughout, with warmer tones introduced on the tall appliance housings and the wood effect floor.
