Fitzroy Stone

This huge open plan space was created by opening up the existing kitchen diner into a modified extension. The clients dream was to have an island that could double up as a seating area for use by the family or as a social space. We designed the kitchen around this concept with a large working kitchen area at one end and a space at the opposite end that would provide additional storage and a softer introduction to a lounge area in the extension. The large central island accommodated up to six stools and provided an ideal entertaining space. The warm stone coloured doors were contrasted with a striking quartz worktop and glass splashbacks.
