Designer's Tips
Choosing different colours for your base and wall units can provide a nice two-tone effect.
Â
A feature extractor hood can provide a stunning focal point in the kitchen, a must if guests can see it from the dining table.
Â
Glass splashbacks are easy to keep clean as they don't have grout or edging strips.

Design Brief
Â
This kitchen was designed for customers who loved to cook and entertain. A large opening was made between the kitchen and dining room to create a large social space. A two-tone kitchen was installed along three walls to provide generous storage and preparation space. The large six-burner gas hob, multifunction oven and a microwave combination oven were chosen to provide the customer with the capacity to cater for large parties. The designer extractor hood was added to provide a focal point, visable from the dining room. An extension of the kitchen into the dining room was created, from which the customer would serve drinks. A shaped timber worktop provided the perfect serving area and a wine cooler was installed between two curved base units housing drinking glasses. The kitchen was completed by installing custom made black glass splashbacks throughout.
