Design Brief

An improvement of almost every aspect was the requisite for this kitchen, as the previous model failed to achieve the requirements of a modern kitchen. To begin, a wall was removed to incorporate a hallway into the kitchen and an external doorway was bricked up. These structural changes allowed us to create a wrap-around kitchen with units on four sides. Starting with a bank of tall housings, each run flowed into the next with a sweeping internal curve and culminated in a large peninsular. Here external curves provided a quartz surround to an inset timber breakfast bar. Feature LED lighting was used under the worktops and plinths to accentuate the shapely design. A black sink and induction hob blended into the work surface and were complimented by a black glass splash back. Finally the contemporary extractor hood provided a focal point at the end of the room.
